Roy is a novel marketplace focused on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) for athletes, designed to facilitate meaningful connections between fans and collegiate sports participants. It empowers fans to financially support their favorite athletes and teams while ensuring that athletes receive equitable compensation for sharing insights about their collegiate experiences.

• NIL Campaigns on Roy: Each year, collegiate athletes have the autonomy to select their next destination. Through Roy, fans can express their support by contributing to a fund linked to the institution of their choice.
• Combined Fan Support: Contributions from fans are aggregated, showcasing the collective backing an athlete receives from their school's community.
• Announcement Decision: Be among the first to learn of an athlete's decision regarding their future. Athletes who accept funding through Roy commit to inform their supporters prior to any public announcement. These announcement videos are collaboratively produced by the athlete and Roy, and are sent directly to fans’ email addresses.
• Additional Videos: Should an athlete choose the school you supported, you will also receive three additional videos, curated and approved by Roy, which provide an engaging look into the athlete's collegiate journey over time.
• Fan Protection: Roy implements a conditional payment system that safeguards your investment. Athletes receive payments only after publicly announcing their plans. Should an athlete opt for a different school or fail to deliver promised content, refunds will be issued in accordance with Roy’s Refund Policy.
• Fraud Prevention: Payments are securely processed through Stripe, ensuring robust financial protection. Additionally, athletes undergo verification through the Socure Predictive Document Verification (DocV) process, affirming that your contributions support only authenticated athletes.
